W6, the river, and across the bridge.
A deliberately tight patch. We would rather know these streets properly than claim everything west of Kensington — and there are two neighbouring areas we specifically do not take.
Hammersmith & the Broadway
The core. Terraced streets, mansion blocks, converted flats and the commercial buildings behind the Broadway. Permit-controlled throughout, and everything is timed around the gyratory and the A4 flyover.
Brook Green & Olympia
Quieter period terraces and red-brick mansion blocks between the Broadway and Olympia. Among the more pleasant streets to work, with the caveat that exhibition traffic at Olympia occasionally wrecks the timing.
Ravenscourt Park & Stamford Brook
Family terraces and conversions around the park, running west towards the Chiswick border. Straightforward when a bay can be suspended, and most of these streets have suspendable bays.
The riverside — Lower & Upper Mall
The stretch along the Thames from the bridge west. Period cottages, newer riverside developments, and several addresses where the nearest vehicle access is a genuine walk from the front door.
Barons Court
Mansion flats and garden squares on the southern edge of our patch, before Fulham proper begins. Period blocks with porters, lifts and service stairs.
Chiswick
Across the bridge — Bedford Park, Grove Park, the High Road, Turnham Green and Strand-on-the-Green. Bigger houses, more period detail, and a different council for parking suspensions.
More detail →Two places we do not cover
Fulham, SW6. Same borough, different half. Parsons Green, Fulham Broadway, Sands End and Hurlingham are covered by a separate firm in this network that works the southern side properly. We take W6 and the river.
Shepherd's Bush, W12. There is a dedicated Shepherd's Bush firm and for W12 you will be better served there. It is a short distance on a map and a real difference in who knows your street.
Ask us either way and we will point you at the right one rather than stretch to cover it badly.
Moving somewhere on this list?
Both addresses, the floor at each end, and roughly what is going. That is enough for a real figure.
